WOMEN

of Haringey, North London

We are from Jamaica, France and Israel: our experiences and personalities are rooted in diverse cultural backgrounds, multilingualism and multiculturalism.

Sandra Lawrence

was born in Jamaica, she spent her childhood in Birmingham and has lived in London for the last 30 years. Sandra is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and has a MA in HRM Strategy.

She has two adult sons, is also a grandmother, and she has spent the last 16 years working in childcare.

Sandra is an experienced business mentor and the owner of a childcare solutions company

based in North London, a business that was borne out of a personal need for quality flexible childcare.

By setting up her own childcare company and listening and supporting the women who she came into contact with, she discovered that

quality

flexible

and accessible childcare

is the key to many women and their families being included and feeling a part of society. Whether that was enabling them to study, set up their own enterprises, obtain employment or volunteer. Sandra believes passionately in supporting families holistically and sees access to affordable flexible childcare as being integral to that.

Prior to setting up her childcare business, Sandra delivered business support to small businesses and start ups. as a business link adviser and also through her business consultancy.
